Tone wise no difference. The midi features is what i bought it for. Had it awhile now and can't fault it. Works as advertised and easy to set up. Here is a pic of it in my pedal drawer.

I’ve finally worked it out. If you dial up those settings on Crunch mode and blend it with a Diezel VH4 on channel 3 with the well documented settings he use for that you nail his tone. It does this weird phase thing like they’re only 20 degrees out of phase or something and it sounds unreal!

Maybe something the Mark VI might have. Would be cool.

Somewhere in the manual I recall reading that the cab clone was designed to be used with lower volume and wattage settings. Even though it’s rated for 100 watts it states something along the line of not to be used as an amp attenuator.

They are great amps that can do a lot of sounds. They have 9 seperate pre amps and selectable wattage. I own one and love it. I also love in Australia so I probably paid a lot more than you would. But yes I think they are worth it.
