Running patch cable in LSS efx loop?

Hey All, This was a trick I used to do with my MKIII. I always thought the amp sounded better/smoother. Is it safe to do this with the LSS?

Getting High Gain out of Lone Star

An old pro co rat or the new whiteface reissue should work great into the clean channel. I haven't tried boosting the dirty channel but the rc boost usually does the job nicely.

Mesa Boogie Reverb Noise When Switching Channels

Hi Joseph. I do like a little reverb, and the LSS has some of the best pan reverb I've heard. I keep mine at about 9 o'clock, so I don't think that's too much! Strange, but I only notice this when I switch from the dirty channel to the clean channel. I did try switching out the V4 tube, but...

Mesa Boogie Reverb Noise When Switching Channels

I'm noticing this problem lately with my LSS. my bad since I haven't been using my footswitch that much till now. I have both reverbs set pretty low, but notice a bit of mushrooming effect of the verb when I switch channels and then it reverts back to it's lower setting. It may also have...

Live video with Lone Star Special

John, good to see you over here. Thanks for sharing your settings. Looks like you're running it in 30 watt mode with the loop engaged? I previously owned a MKIII head, went boogie-less for a long time until I recently got the LSS. I really enjoy the clean channel with reverb and it works...

    LSS speaker options

hey! I've been pretty happy with the C-90 and definitely gives tons of clean headroom. It does get a little fizzy with pedals for me, but this hasn't been my experience in the past with this speaker. I think it just needs a bit of break-in time. I have a C-Rex hanging around and curious how...
