I got a couple of Yellow Jackets for my Roadster. The instructions that came with them says to put them in the outer two slots or the inner two slots. Which two tubes are on when the 50 watts is selected?
I don't know if I should set it up to be 50 watts = Yellowjacket tubes and 100 watts = Yellowjackets + EL 34s, or if it should be 50 and 100 watts each have an EL 34 and a Yellowjacket. I tried using only two Yellowjackets, and the volume decrease was nice but I lost a lot of crunch.
From what I've read EL-34s and Yellowjackets are a better combo than 6l6/Yellowjackets. I will probably try all combos, but it would be nice to know which tubes are running in 50 and 100 watt modes.
