I have a .50 Caliber + head w/EQ that I bought a couple of months ago.
I really like it, but I don't think it's for me. I find that I play my DC-5 much more than the .50 Cal.
I just replaced the filter caps and LDR's. It is in tip top shape electronically. I even changed the Plate Resistors for the Preamp tubes so there is no hiss in the clean channel.
It has Mesa Preamp tubes and Mesa STR 425 (I think) power tubes. I don't know how old they are, but the sound really good.
The head cab has a cigarette burn (from a previous owner, I don't smoke) and a few tiny dings. Other than that, it looks pretty good and is physically sound.
I think I just need to have a separate EQ for each channel.
I think they go for around $550 or so. I would like to trade for a Mesa amp of equal value.
