Mesa US won't sell direct internationally and my local Mesa dealer has advised me that Mesa will only sell a badge if I can produce evidence of the original being damged. The original is not damaged I want another badge for a project I'm working on.

Can you guys buy from Mesa without all this rubbish ???

Not that your project is, but maybe they don't want their nameplates on counterfeit gear.
You can no longer get Fender logos for the same reason.
