The Triaxis is a very nice sounding Preamp. No doubt. But Mesa uses these numeric LEDs which go crap very often. Then they miss one segment of those seven. Or the little dot goes out. Why is that? Any source for replacement?

Sometimes you can't know if a part will last for a long time until it is too late. Mesa has changed parts on the Triaxis , as well as their other amps, over the years so if you have a problem just call Mesa for a replacement part.

You can always go to mouser.com or alliedelec.com to search for parts.

You can check on digikey.com

For part relacement, If you are not sure.
Give me the number on the side of 7 segments led.

I expect, the courant(I) On led is a little bit to High.
Most of the time, To have a good light
the manufacturer recommanded to use it a the maximum courant(20mA).
But it is possible to use it at 10mA or 15mA, and the life should be better.
In this case, it is needed to change the resistor in Serie with.

I have the same problem. Just live with it. Doesn't bother me to much as I still can recognise the numbers
