Who use the TriAxis connected direct to the board / mix ?

I'm currently using a TA and would like to go direct to the mix with no amp use.
Tried the "Record Out" but it was too dark / muddy no matter which preset I use either clean or distortion wile @ my studio connected to the mighty 2:90 with boogie cabs it sounds a blast!
Now, I was recommended to use a DI speaker emulator for direct connecting, something like that: http://www.be...e mix) and can throw some knowledge ? Thanks.

Would you happen to have any recordings of such a setup ? I found the Palmer PDI-09 "The Junction" to have a perfect sound for '80s metal with a Marshall, but never tried it with a TriAxis. It would be interesting to hear how that would work.
