Hey so i'm a big Boogie Fan ever since playing a few in the US last year, I've been interested in the New Roadster coming out, but i've never played It's bigger brother. Also i've been looking at a Triaxis/2:90 combo.. But again i havent played one.. I have played a Dual Rec tho.. and I loved it...
The type of tone im looking for is a very Modern Metal Tone. Like a tight Petrucci Tone from their latest Album (Which he used the RK's on)/ Metallica Tuning Room sorta' sound (Which now comes from Dual Recs, for james anyways). But in saying that, i also like a bit of versatility, often bridging into Low gain blues/rock, Twangy Country Cleans. Smooth lead sounds... Smooth cleans etc... The main focus would be on the Distortion sound.
Again my choices...
-Mesa Triaxis/2:90 w/Mesa 2x12
-Mesa Dual Rec w/Mesa 2x12
-Mesa Roadster w/Mesa 2x12
Any Input would be apprechiated.
