Which channel on the Roadking II/ Roadster is the closest to channel 3 on the dual and tripple rectifier?

channel 3 or 4 on the RK/RS?

Channel 4, however on the RK/RS there is more mid's and not as dark as the Triple or dual.

I always thought a Dual's 2 and 3 were like a RK's 3 and 4, respectively. Also in terms of where the presence control is and how it works.

According to the Road King user manual, the only difference between channels 3 and 4 is that the Presence control on channel 4 has a much greater range than channel 3. Equivalent settings of the knob will give you much more boost of the high frequencies with channel 4.

That is correct, however roadkings and roadsters are voiced with a little more mid's, more of a mix between a dual and a tremoverb.

Channel 2 on a dual is the same as channel 3 on a roadking.
