Looking for a good rackmount noise suppressor I've heard of the rockertron hush.
Any favorites out there for a triaxis 2:90 gforce rig.

The ISP Decimator ProRack is probably the best option--offers two loops to eliminate noise at the input and loop level. It's quite pricey though, at $365 new.

The Rocktron Hush is quality too, but the ISP is in a different league.

I just bought one (ISP), I'll let you all know how it pans out.

The ISP Decimator only made my rig Tri/2:90 rig worse. It can make your rig scary quiet, buttttttt..........setting it up so notes don't decay, or if you want feedback, or when you want clean sounds like chords to naturally decay the decimator sucks for. PLUS, and this is HUGE to me, the unit actually adds more noise into the rig..........so when you roll your volume down on your guitar and want to play cleaner parts, you can really hear the horrible noise it added. The new ones come with a ground switch, so I never got to try that seeing as I have an older one. I should also say the other guitar player in my band tried using it on his new Marshall JVM and it bothered him too...Added more noise underneath, and was impossible to get the right blend of gating and letting notes trail off.

My DBX Compressor/Limiter/Gate ended up working perfectly and is gating my Triaxis in the effects loop, and Marshall JCM 2000 in the effects loop.

I picked up a Rocktron Hush Ultra midi rack unit. It's in my rack and looks purdy but I haven't had a chance to set it up yet.
The idea is to dial in what ever noise suppression/ or no noise suppression for each patch on the triaxis as you like. I'll let you know how it goes when I get there : )

dbone, have you considered that you already have a perfectly good noise suppressor in your GForce?

It works fine, it takes up no additional space or weight, no additional cable or noise, fits in seamlessly with your effects patches (no extra programming/mapping). Where's the downside?

I would really hope that you have a powerful reason not to use it. A lot of the time people assume that you need dedicated gear for certain things and that it does it better somehow. It's not always the case though. I use the noise suppressor in my G-major and it works just as well as any dedicated box I ever owned for the same purpose.

I did consider using the G-force but to be honest its on probation. That piece of equipment has crashed on me twice loosing all my presets/memory and requiring a visit to the service dept X2 over the years. I got it back a few months ago and am now tentatively building a new rapport with it. Well see... I also had a space in the rack and the one space drawer I ordered was a piece of chit, so I opted to go this route.
