Hey

I have been using a malekko spring chicken reverb the last 4 months but I've decided its not working well enough with my 3 channel . The loop overloads it and it clips in a bad way from time to time . In front of the amp sounds great clean but not good distorted .I emailed the maker and he reckons the pedal doesnt like some effects loops. nice soundign pedal but I need something that wont overload so easy

so i think I'm going to sell it and get something else. Anyone tried the trex roommate with a 3 channel recto loop ? I know its pricey but if it works well I'd be intrested

I use a Holy Grail on some cleans every once in a while. Other than that I don't use reverb. It's all about a well-placed delay. 8)

this doesn't sound right...

where is your loop dialed in at?

anyway, the pedal is not likely to be the issue in my experience. I would set the send to 12 o'clock or just under, and crank the mix to 100% (anything less is pointless)

kinda seems that the loop on the 3ch seems to work back to front, logically speaking, but this is the way it seems to work.

Hey man

I have it set to full wet and 12 oclock send . I think the pedal is designed with a pretty low headroom to give that dirty old fender reverb sound

wow that is odd, works spot on for me, I run the send just under 12 I think, not that it makes much difference...

.

do you use the maleko spring chicken as well ?

sorry man, I forgot that I have the later chicklet version, not the spring chicken... haha, but yeah that one seems to work fine for me, though I did try out the Boss FRV-1 and that one is pretty damn good too I must say...

I use a holy grail nano. Meh...it's ok. Leave it on all the time but overall just run a tiny bit to loosen things up a bit.
