use your ts-9 to overdrive your preamp.
use it between your guitar and amp. Find whatever gain you like to use on your amp and set the ts-9 gain very low,,9-10 oclock and set the ts-9 output level higher than the sound level of your amp.
Kick it in for your leads.
Just experiment to find the best sound. If you use too much gain ontop of your already gainy amp you will find it gets sloppy. some people like to keep them on all the time. good luck
