Mesa wants ~$400 dollars including shipping for a custom Dual Rec head shell?????

I had read 250, 300 ish on the boards here which is reasonable, I was quoted around 360 for just a different color vinyl and material where the diamond plate usually is.

What gives on that, seems kind of ridiculous to me. :roll:

it's all labor, man. those guys are so skilled at what they do, they probably make ~$50/hr at least. it is expensive, but the quality is top notch.

Yeah I understand that I suppose, it will be top notch quality, etc.

I've just seen other threads where people were quoted cheaper.
