Wanted: Mesa F-50 combo

I want one of these so bad. I know I just joined, but it's because I can't find one FS anywhere on HC or UG. Hehe.

I'm thinking $550 shipped is a fair price for one.

Don't rule out the DC-5. It is a superior amp IMO, but more Mark-like whereas the F-50 is more Recto-like. They are both still their own 'beast' but tend towards these directions respectively.

Good luck finding one for $550 shipped. You might be able to find an F-30 combo for that price...

I like having the more recto-like gain. I heard some clips of the f-50 on youtube and i want one SO BAD. but i would settle for a dc if i got it cheap, i guess. And I should have said 650 shipped... thats better i think. I had posted a local wanted ad asking 550. Like 2 of them sold on craigslist recently for $550. My friend was one of them, haha!

i just checked the ebay prices right now.. hardly any f-50's.. but they're pretty steep. Like, $800 steep for a *mint* one.. is 650 shipped fair? 700?

And plumptone i don't know if i'm interested. Aren't the wood and wicker ones significantly more expensive? I can shell out more money, but how much are we talkin here?

Let's put it this way - I spent close to $1,700 on it new, I think. It's only a couple of years old - still under warranty. I'm not in any particular rush to unload it. This is what it looks like:

I'm looking for ones that are used, not necessarily beat up, but rough around the edges. You get the idea. That's why i buy used and not new is so its cheaper haha
