I know they are heavy and I know that shipping will kill me, but I really miss my old Heartbreaker more than almost any other amp I have ever had.

If you have one and want to sell it, please let me know.
If you are on the West Coast, or preferably Hawaii, that would be even better.

I don't care if it has dings in the tolex.
I don't care if it doesn't work properly (within reason).
I don't care if it comes without speakers. That's actually better for shipping.
I don't even care if it needs a new output or power transformer.

I do not want one that has been on fire or in a flood though.......

Please do not PM me, just email me pictures at andy at amps-tubes.com
Or, you can call me at 808-633 three nine four four

Andy, my friend,
You realize you are just a little loony......
you have one, you get rid of it, you get one, you get rid of it. I know you love them. It is just kind of fun to watch you ride the HB wave. I loved mine, with the mods you did, but the RA-100 is awesome.

Good luck...
Brent

Yeah, it took me a while to dial it in, but once I did, the RA-100 became my main stage amp. Not as versatile as the Mark V or even the modded HB, but you can't deny the tones in the beast. Now, my problem is I need a low wattage combo for small situations....
It's always something new and different, eh?
Hope all is well with you.

What happened with the Rivera Andy?

Matt
 I put this up before I got the Fandango.
Really wish I would have gotten the M-60 instead though. I did manage to get rid of the fizzy-ness on the distortion channel. It sounds great, but just feels like it's missing something.......sustain!
The clean channel is phenomenal though, and like I said, the distortion sounds great now.

I really think the Heartbreaker with modified Lust channel (super high gain mod) is exactly what I'm looking for.
Bad news is, I spent the money on the Rivera. Ah well, should have listened to my shrink.

 Couldn't resist.
My business partner basically threw it at me. I hated it at first, but have slowly been getting it dialed in. I'm really starting to like it now.
I'm a little nervous about having an amp with so many moving parts. 36 relays seems a bit much!

$1800 for a Mark V head in pristine condition and a Soldano 2x12 cab. Just couldn't resist.

You should've named this thread "Wanted: Broken Back"

But I must say, I used to own one and the tone is worth every pound!

Sorry this post was useless. Good luck on your search. 8)

FWIW - I love the Heartbreaker. I've actually got the exact HB head modded by Andy - I've never played a stock one, but this thing just sings. If any of you HB owners are considering mods on yours, do it yesterday.
