Has anybody tried this on their power amp? Do you think it could work?

The ad reads as follows:
Simulate the Sag & the smoother, easier-to-play feel of a tube rectifier at a fraction of the cost! "SAG" SWITCH $59.95

Description / Specs:
Simulates the "sag" & smoother feel of a tube rectifier
Smoother / easier to play feel
Considerably more affordable than installing a tube rectifier
For tube amplifiers that do not have a tube rectifier (IE: solid state / silicone diodes)
Perfect for players of all styles
Ideal for at-home playing, live gigs and recording
Added heavy-duty Carling switch
Installed on rear of chassis - Drilling may be required
Can be installed in place of Ground / Polarity switch
Location of control(s) is dependant on model of amp - Email with questions
Note - note recommended for metal-players who demand fast bass / low-end response

Right now I'm looking for a Triaxis. But yeah, I'll be running the TRI with a Mesa 20/20 & a Digitech 1101.

I wouldn't want to run the sag all the time, just some of the time, particularly on clean blues soloing.
