Hello everyone. First post for me on this Board. I had a huge problem last Sat night with my volume. Seems like I am the only one who heard it because the other band members told me they could hear me through the mix fine, but near the end of the last set, things started washing out a little. Same with audience, they thought mix was good and that my volume could have been a little higher but was ok (I'm fine with that as I am the rythmn guitar player with some leads on some stuff, but I am not supposed to be in front of the mix anyway).

I heard the problem from the moment of the first set. My volume pedal was maxed and by the end of the night I had the triaxis at 11 and the power amp at 12:00. I have played this unit many times before with the power amp (using one channel) near the 12:00 mark and the Triaxis (one channel) no more than at 5 and the volume is way more than enough at club levels (I also mic my cabinet through PA). Never had this problem before, live or in studio.

For reasons I don't want to bore anyone with, I usually ran mono from one speaker output to my 4X12 cabinet (it has stereo or mono selection). So I usually only ran one channel on the Simul and the Triaxis. Never a problem and tons of headroom. On the spur of the moment and just before the show, I suddenly decided to run stereo and ran speaker cord from both spearker outs (A) & (B) to the cabinet inputs and switched the cab to stereo. The only other change I saw from other nights was when I checked the back of the amp the next morning the 1/2 drive and Deep drive was plugged into each other i.e. the Deep Drive was plugged into switch 2 on the Triaxis and the 1/2 Drive was plugged into Switch 1 on the Triaxis. I had (as usual) Deep selected on the front of the Simul. Is this the problem? I sure hope so, because the only way to know for sure is cranking this in a similar sized room with other instruments at band level to see if it makes a difference between getting lost in the mix (which was what happened Sat) or cutting through. I won't have time to do that before the next gig.
