I use an Ernie Ball volume pedal. While it certainly isn't "boutique" it suits my needs just fine. They seem to last forever.

Anyone use the Dunlop GCB-80 High Gain Volume Pedal with active p'ups or a wireless?

Price is right around $60. I don't see active vs. passive models though.

The EB Active Mono is nice but I don't need the tuner out and it's 2X the price.

The dunlop will be more reliable but the EB is SMOOTH and the taper is great. What's important to you? The feel of the pedal or if it works or not? There are tons of volume pedals but there's a reason th EB pedal is the standard.

Used they are about $80.

Boss volume has a 'minimum volume' knob so you can use it as a lead boost if you want. I have one. I like it. The FV50 I believe.

Boss FV-500 is a tank.. it comes in high or low impedance models. The low comes in stereo in/outs.

I'm using the EB VP jr. Very smooth, quite and I also like that it's passive. It's essentially another volume control for your guitar and acts in much the same manner.
Boss is another very good pedal and used by many of the pros.
