Hi,
I'm wondering if someone can help me out with a volume pedal issue I'm having.
I recently purchased a Mission VM PRO volume pedal. I first followed the directions
to plug the guitar straight into the pedal 1st in line. What happens is if I start on
Channel 1 then switch to Channel 3, when I go back to channel 1 there is a VERY noticeable
drop in volume. To get the volume back to where it was in channel 1, I actually have to unplug
at the Mark V guitar input and plug it back in. I've tried it taking any subsequent pedals (BB Preamp, Neo mini vent)
out of the equation and went into the Mission and straight to the amp and it still did the same thing.
Now, when I put the Mission in the loop, no issue but it takes away from the amp tone.
I spoke to Mission about it and they felt it's just a matter of adjusting the channel volume
but that doesn't seem right. However I set the channel volumes should all be reflected the same when
I go through the Volume pedal.
Has anyone had any success with a volume pedal and the Mark V ?
Has anyone had a similar experience as I have and how did you resolve it ?
Thanks ,
Tony

I have the same mission volume pedal.I haven't experienced what you have. Its a strange pedal though as it boosts the signal when its left flat(as in the internal dip switches). When set to passive pickups it boosts the signal and when set to active it doesn't.Maybe this is causing your proble?Im not sure what to make of that pedal tbh, as i only got it because it was supposedly the best volume pedal around. But i find the buffer colors the signal.Just a a small amount but enough to bug me.
