What do I need to do in order to have my V-twin pedal always start in the bypass mode when I turn the power on?
Whatever I try, it always goes on in the Solo mode...
I have it mounted in the S/R loop of my BOSS gt10 mfx and I need it to be in the bypass mode most of the time...

Thanks for your answers...

Interesting... mine powers up in bypass. I think it's meant to - in the manual, it says that if you want to use the external switching jacks you have to leave it in the power-up mode for the logic to work correctly. Mine is an early one - with Tele-type knobs and no access panel on the bottom - so maybe if yours is the later version they changed the logic.

A couple of my older Boss and DOD pedals power up on too - you just have to remember to turn them off. I always go through a complete check of the switching on all my pedals before I play anything anyway, so it isn't really an issue unless someone turns the pedalboard off at the wall and back on again without me noticing - which has happened! :)

mine is the old type too....
I don't use the external switching (maybe I should get one) and I tried removing the jacks (either both and/or one at a time) before turning everithing off. But nothing seems to work. Like it had a mind of its own, the "Thing" keeps powering up in Solo mode...
Oh well... I'll just pay more attention when I mean to play a clean note, so it won't sound like ROARRRGRAWWLLLLLLL...

I just wonder if others have the same prob...
Thanx for your reply
