Hello, i just wanted to comment that the slave output of my LSS works great, the only thing you need to do is use a cabinet simulation, there are plenty of guitar software that have great cab simulations, guitar rig, amplitube, but the best comes from revalver.

It sounds totally amazing you really hear the tube sound as pure as it gets.

Sound sample will come later.

Has any one done this too???? i do not see much use talk about the slave here.

Nico.

Here are 2 images of my baby.

Don't you just hate having the keyboard player on your side? they take up so much room!

Thanks Nico

Really interested in hearing more, tips for young players and of course the results. I just got myself a Mac and gararge band should be perfect for downloading backing tracks and recording the guitar parts at home (except I have to drag the amp up stairs).

My last experience recording the amp with a mic was horrible. The amp was smok'n in the boot. I thought the Tele was sounding like Kenny Wayne Sheppard and the end result sounded worse than my 2 watt Fender Champ practice amp. I had read somewhere about 2 years ago here that direct slave produced great results but time was against us.

Rock on!

I've had great results recording with LSC with a mic. I use an SM57 into a Line 6 Toneport (not pro, but works ;) into an iMac running Logic Pro.

The most recent song I did is here:

Check out the song SURF GREEN - The clean parts are all LSC. The other 2 songs were done with the LSC as well.
