Using Rectifier Rhythm/Lead Footswitch for Stiletto?

I am currently using my stock Stiletto footswitch '2 button (Channel/Solo) footswitch' and I don't use or play the SOLO option on my pedal and the size of the 2 button Stiletto pedal takes up too much room in my pedal road case.

Can anyone tell me if I purchase the 'Rectifier 1 button (Rhythm/Lead) channel changing only footswitch' will it work with my Stiletto to successfully change from channel 1 & 2 and so forth? Or is a mod required?

Some further thinking on this...I should be able to run a single button footswitch to the EXT SWITCH 'CHANNEL' input on the rear of the amp...not requiring the front footswitch input to operate a single button Footswitch...Hope I am correct... :?

that's exactly what i do with mine stiletto.

i also dont use the solo function and i am using an old mesa channel switch (silver one - rhy 1 to rhy 2 used on mark IIIs) connected to the ext switch channel on the back to change channels.

works wonderfull
