Tube buzz?

i keep hearin vibration of tubes on my rkII. is this normal? only when it gets pretty bassy. i dont think i need new tubes. is it just cuz its quiet n it always happens?!

my RK-I combo rattles the heck out of the tubes at loud volumes, but it doesn't get picked up by the mic's.

It's normal, and there are things out there you can buy and add on that stop it from doing that..... Tube retainers and like items.

oh all right whew. thanks for actually responding. youre probably the most helpful on here u two. pretty much all the questions ive had u guys answer for me. it pisses me off when im watchin my post and theres 25 views and no reply!

I just hate "tube rattle". To make sure it is the tubes rattling have someone play the guitar and put on an oven mitt and grab the tubes one by one until you find the culprit.

In my experience 6V6 are the worst, EL34 next and 6L6 the least prone.

These gizmos work great but are pricey.
