Triple Rectifier pedal and outputknob problem?

Hey guys I'm new here.
My name is Mark and live in the Cleveland, Oh. area.

I have a Triple Rec with the following problem(s): 1. The footswitch is not controlling the solo or fx functions.
2. the output knob that I suse as master volume is not working
properly. It isn't adjusting the volume but does change the
sound being produced....fizzy to whompy is the best way
I can describe it.
Any ideas of what may be causing this or any sollutions before I take it in to the local tech?

start off with changing your V4 preamp tube....this tube runs the loop circuit..see if that helps

I already took it to the tech...I'll call him and give him this info.

you wont have to call him..he will def check that circuit out and that is the only tube in the loop circuit

Metaghius, you rock, I just had exactly the same problem and replaced the V4 tube, now it's running like a dream. Thanks for that!
