Most of us, as mere civilians, are pretty well versed in tube related problems, beyond that, most of us would surrender to the voltage demons lurking in your amp!

What if I told you it was a loose connection, or a bad solder joint: Are you going to open the thing up, and start poking around? I'd hope not! Unless you are familiar with these types of things!
