Does anyone know if it is possible? I have a friend that has a 6 of 8 bay rack that he isnt doing anything with and I was thinking if i could mount my triple rec in it. i figured that if im getting a wireless receiver it'll be cool if i could keep everything together.

Thanks

I wish... The triple rectifier is something like 26 inches wide where I believe rack gear is 19 inches wide. you could buy one of those ATA cases that holds the head and has like few separate rack spaces.

I know the amp is wider than a rack space. I was wondering if there was a kit that you could buy that will mount just the amp, not the case, in a rack space.

Im talking about just mounting this part...

the width of the actual gear that can fit into a rack is betwwen the rails is 17-3/4"
the rest is rack ears it adds up to 19".

the problem is that the triple rec pcb that the amp is built on is wider than that.

you would have to gut the amp completely and rebuild it all by hand into a new chassis to make this happen. no its not impossible but it would cost far more than its worth.

you might be better off finding an older 2 channel rackmounted rectifier that mesa used to make.
