triple rec + gmajor

okay, so i recently hooked up a triple rect to a gmajor via the fx loop, but every time i click the FX button the gmajor makes it quieter... how can i make the volume stay the same w/o makign the gmajor clip?

For me I left the FX loop always on and had a bit of gate always on to get rid of buzz.

To start, I put a patch cable in the loop and get ch2 and 3 to match each other volume wise. Then hooked up the gmajor and got everything set there input and output wise. After that you can volume to taste with your output knob.

I would also set your preset volumes to -6dB to have some extra headroom for volume boosts.

Turn down the input voulme knob and adjust the compressor and/or noise gate to reduce compression and damp.
