Hello gents this is my first post. Quick query..

Before I bought my Triple Rec, I was using the following signal path with my pedals:

Les Paul-Boss Metalcore pedal-Boss digital delay pedal-Amp head.

The path allowed me to make smooth transitions in which I could decay the distortion in the delay pedal. This allows for smooth transitions between distorted and clean parts. Is there a way I can achieve this technique using the beast like triple rec distortion instead of the crappy pedal?

Put the delay in the amp's FX loop and leave it on all the time, using the footswitch to turn the loop on/off. When you switch to clean, you will still get the "tail" of the dist channel. When the echoes fade you can shut the loop off, unless of course you want the delay on your clean too.

Trade the Metalcore for an overdrive or EQ pedal and use that for your boost.

Buy a GCX audio switcher and a midi pedalboard, connect the pedals you want in the switcher, create your own loops (i.e. chorus + delay for cleans, eq + od for distortion and comp + eq + delay for leads) and choose the one you want with a simple tap on the floorboard. Of course this involve some investment!
