Triode or Pentode?

Which setting do you prefer?

I go back and forth on this one. For a long time I had it on pentode but recently went back to triode. No doubt triode is the classic Boogie sound. It really depends on what your playing.

Cannot pick just one!

Alone at home (and without a 4x12 cab), I often find myself preferring Pentode because it sounds bigger and ballsier.

But in a band context and through a bigger cab, I often go with Triode.

And sometimes it's the other way around, Triode at home and Pentode with a band...

Pentode for rhythm, triode for lead.

I usually use it in triode, so I voted for that.

Triode is the more versatile option for my preferred settings - threshold of clip requiring a looser feel, to mild crunch / fat overdrive is where I live

I normally use the Pentode mode, However the triode mode sound great too. I am on the fence since I like both.
