I am the 1st to admit I'm electrically challenged. However, I'm also cheap. On my Triaxis, the (B) inner output dial has stopped working. That channel plays full regardless of what you do with the (B) output dial. The A (outer) dial works fine. This is (basically) a new Triaxis.
I ordered a new volume pot from Mesa and have a buddy who's not too dangerous with a soldering gun. But, before we attemp surgery on my beloved Triaxis, I figured I should double check:
Is this likely the only possible cause for my issue? The Triaxis works great in every other regard. I just cannot control B channel volume with the (B) output dial. So, can I safely assume this is not something further down (or up) the signal path? I hate to take it to an amp tech and pay him $100 to solder a pot but I will if there are other possible complications.
Thx!
