Hey all,

I've had my TriAxis for about a year now, and I decided to change the tubes to something new, so I got the high-gain JJ's from Eurotubes. They sound great, but there seems to be quite a massive drop in low-end (and an almost equivalent rise in searing, high-end gain).

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm cool with it, but it bothers me a little bit because everyone seems to say they're "darker" and nothing about them seems to be darker to me.

That's the exact opposite of what happened when I switched from EHX to JJs.

I'm not sure what EHX's are... I switched from stock Mesa 12AX7's to the "high-gain" JJ ECC83's.
