Hey guys.

A friend of mine is selling he's Triaxis, i've never used rack gear before so if please help me out here.

1.- What's the price range for a used but mint triaxis? no mods
2.- Can i use my Rivera Tre as power amp?
3.- Can i switch channels (patches?) without a foot pedal?
4.- Please tell me everything you know about it, i only know that the triaxis houses 5 tones from the mark series amps and 1 from the rectifier.

please show me the light would ya

Thanks.

1. $900-1300
2. if it has an FX loop in, then sure. I don't think youll be able to take advantage of the stereo sexiness though.
3. Yes, but its obviously going to require you going up to the triaxis and pressing the buttons on it.
4. There is a lot to know about it. Check out the triaxis group on yahoo. Lots of info there. Only some revisions of the TA have the rectifier mode.

Thanks man!, how do i connect the triaxis with the rivera (it has one of the best loops in the market)

Thanks again.

Ive never personally used that rivera amp, but I would assume you just go from the output of the TA to the input of the FX loop. its a serial FX loop, so you shouldn't have to worry about any wet/dry mixing or anything of that nature.

All the controls on your amp should be bypassed, since the TA is repalcing the rivera's preamp and there will be no instrument plugged into the rivera. The only controls that youll have to work with on the rivera would be the master volume controls and possibily the reverb if you have the reverb model.

Other than that, i think thats all youd need to know about hooking it up.... i think
