Triaxis Eq or sonic maximizer

So i have a triaxis with a 290 power amp does it need an eq or a maximizer or boost ?

The Triaxis has an EQ (limited, but basically the standard Mesa post-EQ in 10 preset settings).

The Sonic Maximizer is just a big shelf-like boost in the bass/treble regions, respectively. Might be what you're looking for. On the other hand, for the price of a Sonic Maximizer, you could get a 31 band graphic EQ which you could use to great effect to shape your tone.

Well i get the triaxis tommorrow and have both a maximizer and 31 band eq to try with it
