Hey guys, new to the forum here but have found some great info already. I do have a quick question: On the Trem-O-Verb head, there is a footswitch input on the front for channel switching. There are also four 1/4" inputs on the back for channel, loop, reverb and trem. Are these just standard foot switches? The manual states that they are "usualy midi" but I thought midi control had a different style jack. The footswitch that came with the head says to use it for channel switching only. Any particular reason I couldn't use it to say, control the loop or the trem? Thanks again and I look forward to chatting with you guys and learning more about these great amps!

Welcome to the forum.

From page 9 of the TOV manual:
EXTERNAL SWITCHING JACKS: These jacks allow (usually MIDI-programmed) operation of your amplifier's functions from an external switching source. In either case, the switching is accomplished by connecting ("shorting") the jack's "Tip" to its "Ring" (or ground.)

Any standard single footswitch will work. The manual states "MIDI-programmed", not MIDI switched. To switch these functions via MIDI control you need an interface such as the Voodoo Lab Control Switcher or similar.
