Does anyone know anything about the Epiphone So Cal 50?

Most of what I've heard about it has been fairly positive but always saying "for the price." There's a Youtube review about it, but not much else. I can't find one to try out. Any thoughts?

A personal experience with one....and this is going to sound cliche'-like, but it was very bland in tone and response. The design is a good one, no doubt. The fallout comes from the component quality, like all Epi amps...they are just not good enough to make the actual design shine through. If you can afford upgrades in capacitor, resistor, tubes and trannies, uh, essentially rebuild it (like the Valve Jr's), you've got yourself an amp for a lifetime.
