Tone problem...

I have a triple rec. dual channel running it through a G force and a dbx 266 compressor/gate, the thing is is when i plug straight into the head I get a much more powerful sound and when I hook up the rack it looses quite a bit of power any help would be useful thnx

Tone suck.....

That's why many people here try to be minimalists with their effects.

If you want the added versatility, there's a sacrifice for it.

Why not run your effects in the loop, and switch them in when necessary?
