Or "Rhy 2 has not enough gain". I know quite a few of them.

Here it is a clip recorded using Rhy 2 exclusively. I think it has all the gain it should have :D

(If you can't open it, try to copy the link and paste it in a new browser window - usually this works)

This is a rev.A (SN1840) Mark IV combo with EV speaker.
Used a Tom Anderson Drop Top, a Shure SM57, an ART Tube MP preamp.

How do you like that ART Tube MP Preamp??? Would it sound good going either this:
Mesa Boogie Mark III - Marshall 1960A - Shure SM57 - ART MP Tube Preamp - Boss BR-600 or this:
Mesa Boogie Mark III - Marshall 1960A - Shure SM57 - ART MP Tube Preamp - Audigy Soundblaster Soundcard - Reaper

Who would still play metal ?
It has been a long time since that was cool at all.
Even when it was cool only a few people thought it was.  :?:

I think the Art Tube MP does the job.
It's quieter than most integrated preamps and sounds fine.
