This 2C+ sounds like crap redux/Mike B. conversation

I have a IIC"+" that sounds like crap.

Boogiebabies provided a bunch of useful info on diagnosing the problem. But Mike B. at Mesa gave me the real low down.

First of all, Mike is a very personable guy, glad to talk about anything Mesa or politics or whatever.

Secondly, we went through my amp, curcuit by circuit, over the phone to figure out the problem.

The amp is going to Mesa tomorrow for a "real" IIC+ mod.

I bought it about a year ago not off ebay. I was sceptical about the + when I saw the s/n.

According to Mike B., it appears that someone tried to do the + mod without fully understanding everything involved. No biggie because I only gave $800 for the amp.

It's going to Mike next week for the real + mod.

Dude, you should have sent some pictures. I can see the circuit in my sleep. I am saddened by the news. Mike will get you going right.
