to tell you the truth, everytime i try using a parametric Eq.... I end up tweaking it for hours. this Gmajor has an EQ that is parametric.
The EQ portion in the Gmajor seems to make my tone thin and nasal-like.

Any one out there had good results with the GMAJOR's EQ section?.

I am thinking of purchasing a graphic Eq.. instead of using the GMajor's EQ. it will be in my FX loop of my TRiple rect.

I HATE the parametric in the G-Major! Most likely because I don't know how to use it, but when I tried I spent days on it and everything still sucked. I gave up on it.

I always had the graphic eq on my Mesas until I got my Stiletto head. Now I use a dbx rack mounted eq in the loop, before the G-Major, and I like my results. For me, it's much easier to dial in a good sound by working the sliders.

I had a hard time dialing in an effective setting using the G Major EQ, but I thought it was because I suck at EQ  . Maybe it's just difficult on the Gmajor. It didn't seem to have as much effect as I was expecting. I need to mess with it some more I guess  . I like the idea of "per patch" settings, vs. a rack eq that will be the same regardless of amp channel. I don't think I want my clean eq'd the same as high gain.
