The Bogner Fish has reached almost mithical status mostly because it is SO rare (only 250 made) and almost no one has tryed it .
I had one on loan some time ago and was not THAT impresed with it (power amp used Mesa 295).
It is good but not as good as the XTC 101B and in preamp land not as good as the CAE 3+ or the X88R in my (and alot of owners)opinion.
Don't pay the premium UNLESS you try it with your gear FIRST and love it but do your self a favor get a CAE 3+ or a EnglE570 to compare it with and you will probably end up with one of those.
