THD amps are made up in Seattle. Here's their website: http://www.thdelectronics.com/
I've not had the opportunity to play one but I have a good friend who is dealer for them up in WA state. He says that the THD amps sound great but he notices that they are fast on attack. He prefers a softer feel and that's coming from someone who plays Rivera and Mesa amps (a Mk IIB in his case). But he says the THD stuff is built great and they sell a lot of the Uni-Valves and Bi-Valves.
As for pros using THD, Carl Verheyen endorses the Flexi-50. I don't know who's on their roster of artist endorsers beyond Carl.
By the way, their website has a bunch of sound clips under the "sounds/lit" link. Personally, I'd like to get a chance to visit my friend's shop and hear the THD stuff in person.
