John Sykes....massive headroom...costly re-tube job....60 plus lb head... ...limit control a must...also bass guitar friendly...kills both small AND large animals :) :(
****...post 1000!!!! :D :D :D at least something worked for me today!!!!time for a tequila,Sheila!

I used to own the one that you were PM'd about. The Rhythm 2 does a more convincing Marshall vibe than the 75 watt versions, and that was the second one that I saw without a serial # beginning with the letter "K". It already has the R2 volume mod as well as the reverb mod. The headroom in the clean channel is unreal, lots of dynamics. 8)

it is a costly retube and it does make a great bass amp, it's loud as all get ou though. i've gotten into the habit of running mine on half power all the time. they're the cat's pajamas though, but flippin heavy. mine has been serviced once in 7 years so very reliable.

Very loud, killer tone, plenty of bottom, R1 is nice and clean, R2 get's dirty, lead is bad ***, very mean, I play metal so it's perfect. There weren't many made, I have the simul, GEQ and reverb. 180 watt 6-6L6, 150 watt 4-6L6 2 EL34. Retube isn't bad, I use all JJ's.
