Tell Me about the Simul-Class 295

I just bought one from Evilbay.....

Just wondering what to expect. I've had a 2:90 and had a Strategy about 10-15 years ago. I'll be running a Langner DCP-1 Creator preamp with it.

A really nice addition to any setup. I've always used mine in a "Pre-amp distortion" mode, never really pushed the power amp itself into distortion. I could never withstand those "g" forces (volumes)! With the type of music I play (jazz, fusion, rock) I had to have footswitchable cleans and distortion. Can't do that with the 295. Cleans are warm and full. Running SED EL34's and 6L6's. Careful with your back! Good luck!

Yea I talked with him last night on HCAF for a while, That Preamp of his sounds awesome. He's got some killer clips.
