When switching from clean to the dirty channel with the footswitch, what determines which mode - Hi or Lo - will come on? Is it just whatever last mode was selected will come up again? Let's say I've just finished a song that goes from Clean to Lo mode. The next song will need Hi mode as the crunch. So can I switch to Hi mode (to "preset" the dirty channel to Hi) and then I use the Clean mode to start the song. When I switch to the other channel, will Hi come up again or do the toggle switches on the amp control this?

The left button switches between clean and whatever gain mode you have selected last,
either blue or red. So you can switch between clean and red, but you have to make sure the
gain mode is set to red before the song starts.

You have the two buttons.

1. The Left button switches between clean and overdrive.
2. Right button between Hi gain and Lo gain.

If you are in the clean mode and hit the right button, you will remain in the clean channel, it will change the drive setting for the next time you switch over to drive.

If you are on Hi gain and switch over to clean and want to go immediteately to Lo after that, you have to make sure some time between switching to clean and switching back to drive you hit the right button.
