will running the studio preamp with just oneside interfere with its tone in any way?and would the reverb being broke interfere if it's not being used?

If i understand correctly you have a studio preamp.
and you want to use only 1 side of the 2.

this wount be a problem. just find out which side sounds the best and use that side.
is you plan to use it with out a reverb just make shur you set reverb to 0.
