I just got a new gig bag/cover for my Stiletto from this place:

Definitely a huge improvement over the Mesa cover that came with it. Not as bulletproof as a road case but it's not like I'm going on tour anytime so, for my purposes, it's just right.

I'm really happy with it. This one was ordered with the double padded option. Just a little pricey but imho it was well worth it as I'm not worried about banging up the amp when I move it around. Like I said I wouldn't use this to go on tour or anything but if you are the type of person who just plays local gigs and use the back of your car to move stuff around this will probably do the trick. Definitely more protection than the slip cover the amp came with.

Do you think that the zipper will in time cause wear to your tolex?


I am glad to see that you changed your name to Charlie. Everytime I saw *DOPEMAN* I would hear that old rap song in my head.

I don't think the zipper rides up against the amp... I'll have a look and get back to you later.

Fyi the zipper doesn't rub up against the amp. It's held away from the amp because of the padding.
