I all,
Now everything is connected in 4 cables mode so i get wet/wet ( guitar>g2 input; g2 insert send>studio pre input; studio pre fx loop send>g2 insert return; g2 main output in streo>studio prefx loop returns; studio pre main outputs >mesa 50/50 ) this allow me to control wich fx will be pre and post the preamp.
Now i want to get the dry sound from the preamp.
My idea is to take a Y splitter box (1 in 2 out) from the studio pre send before it go back to the g2 and set all the fx on the g2 in the fx loop (in parallel) and in the pre fx keep only the wah (i have dunlop rack wah) and the volume of the g2 (that controlled by midi exp pedal).Back to the send output of the studio pre.... (what about compressor? does it go the wet or dry?? i tink dry - am i correct?). The Y splitter box will split the signal that 1 goes to the g2 insert return and the 2nd will go to another 50/50 for a dry sound.
is that work and correct?
cheers you all!
