Strategy 400 or 500?

I'm looking to add a monster amp to my current rack and have pretty much settled on either the strategy 400 or 500, whichever I can find. I am interested in some feedback regarding the pro & con of each piece. From what I understand, the 400 & 500 are basically the same amps but the 500 having the obvious deep extend & track switching options. Aside from that, are there any other big differences between the 2? Any input or advice is much appreciated!

As far as I know, you have to be pretty pro yourself if you wanna find those amps

I have a 500 and I LOVE it! Yep, the switchtrack feature sounds awesome and is great to use as a volume booster... Having said that you can put EL34's into some of the tube sockets on the 400.... a nice option....
