There are times when the amp pops like static would do. Then there is a sound that resembles scratchy reverb like you shook the amp. I been playing 60 years. I've had a few amps, guitars, etc. But have never heard an amp do this! The reverb is off. I have 3 pedals in the line. Powered by wall warts. Good quality (I think) cords by Pig Hog. 20, 10's, and patch are all good cords. The sound(s) come randomly. Sometimes when there is no movement on the carpet, sometimes when I stand up. I live in a dry climate and know static can contribute to these sounds. The tubes are less than a year old. I play very little so not a lot of wear on them. We have a throw rug on the carpet and I put the cord under it to not trip. If it is static, any way to eliminate it?
Any ideas?
