STOLEN UK - rare 1992 chrome chassis dual recto

Sadly I had this amp stolen from my recording studio in Liverpool yesterday. Someone sneaked in and took it even though we were there - damn smoking ban meant that clients had to go out regularly and someone didnt lock the door

It is a 1992 chrome chasis, black metal grille model, US voltage serial 207.

OUCH !!!! That really sucks, I wish people would finally realize, if it doesn't belong to you...leave it alone.

Serial # R-0207 !!!!!!!! Pre500 chrom/black....that will be IMPOSSIBLE to pass along publicly in the US as we know how valuable those are.
Hell...there are several people here with built-in radar for those.

I mourn for your loss I basically scour ebay on a daily basis for mesa gear. So if I see it, I will contact you ASAP.

I am still mourning my loss. The amp is insured, minus a nice hefty excess, but the thing is I will not find one of those again......

First off, sorry about your loss!

Not to make you feel worse but if that was the only thing that was taken, the person that grabbed it may have known it's value as a pre500 with a desire to take it as opposed to resell it.

Try to get the police to talk to those that were around at the time. Unfortunatetly it could have been someone from the "inside" so to speak. I know how uncooperative the police can be but it can't hurt. You might get that one young Copper willing to put the time in.
